The latest on the figurine sets are that armies of nine characters are being injection molded and then painted.

Doomeranger Update!
For the TY the Tasmanian 2: Bush Rescue HD campaign to bring the game to consoles, you mob did an awesome job rallying together to help us hit Stretch Goal #3. Thanks to you, Steve has been busy expanding the story of TY the Tasmanian Tiger in the new Doomeranger part 2 comic.

All Kickstarter backers will be receiving links to download their digital copies when the comic is completed.
Next up, the words are being added along with any finishing touches. Your digital copy of the completed comic will be coming soon. Keep an eye out for future Project Updates.
New Comic Offering
TY clashes with the mysterious intruders from beyond only to be left with a bigger mystery. Who is the Doomeranger and what does it have to do with the secrets of Sly’s past? Join us as we uncover the events that led to Sly’s dark days.
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of TY the Tasmanian Tiger, Krome Studios is excited to announce a limited print run of the Doomeranger part 2 comic!
With some spoilers blurred out to keep them a surprise, here are the finished, colored pages. (To be fair, we're being cheeky and kept it all low-res to not give away too much.)
The remaining Doomeranger (part 1) physical prints can be pre-ordered* together with the new Doomeranger part 2 print as a bundle offering.
The digital version of Doomeranger part 2 will be made available* sometime after the Kickstarter Backers receive their reward.
*European Union and United Kingdom orders are no longer accepted, including digital items, our apologies. Unfortunately, we've had to make this difficult decision due to VAT registration issues. Should we ever do a future Kickstarter (we currently have no plans), we will try to have a work around in place so that UK and EU backers will be able to participate again.

TY2 Swim Shorts Update

Fish and Chips! There's Six!
The six size samples of the TY2 Swim shorts arrived. The color and print are amazing. So rich and vibrant. These shorts seem like they would last FOREVER!
We've worn a couple of pairs to see about how they fit and how they wear.
It's like when you wear a pair of shorts and drive your car in the summer. You know, the one with the vinyl seats. The one where your skin sticks to the seat... and it hurts when you get out as your thighs tear away from being stuck to the seat.
So yeah-no, we're going another round with getting the prototype correct before full production.

Last month we locked in the quantities for the sizes. Sizes Large and 2XL have all been spoken for.
There are less than 5 of the remaining sizes left: Small, Medium, XL and 3XL. Those sizes are still available for pre-ordering.

Physical Goods Update + New TY only Offering

Progress on your items continues!
New TY-only Figurine SKU
As most of you are aware, the physical goodies being made for the TY2HD Kickstarter campaign rewards will be the only production run of those items. Congrats again to the European Union and UK backers who got in early before we had to stop taking orders due to corporate VAT registration issues.
What does this have to do with the 3" Figurines? The updated mold outputs passed inspection, and we've locked in and paid the production costs... which means quantities are finalized.
There are two units remaining to pre-order the Series 1 set with TY, Sly, Shazza and Boss Cass.
Can't find it on the shop? So sorry, they've been taken.
Do not despair! We ordered heaps more of the TY unit!
This week we've received the next prototype of the toy boomerang.
Once upon a time, it started here:
All the vendors we've talked to keep wanting to stuff it with filling and not use a foam core. But it's getting closer!
This newest version of the prototype has two problems. The first is that the back pattern is not flipped correctly. The second is that the filling is polystyrene balls, not the foam core specified.
We are awaiting another version of the prototype and hope to see it in the next few weeks.
Swim Shorts
Since the last update, we've made some tweaks to the TY-sun pattern on the sides, and changed the drawstring to a nicer, chunkier cord. The shorts are nearly finalized and ready for full production.
The manufacturer has now finished the patterns for the six different sizes and have shipped us the prototypes for review. We expect to receive them by the end of the month.
The quantities of each size have been locked in. If you can no longer find your size on our BackerKit shop, it means that there are no longer shorts available in that particular size.
Doomeranger part 2 Digital Comic
Saving the best for last, here's a little update on the digital comic that all project backers will be receiving.
I spy with my little eye the final pages. No, we're not going to show them to you and spoil the ending, but yeah, it's awesome.
The part 2 comic still has some work to go until it is completed though. Next up, are the front and back covers, as well as, the text, and then a final pass.
We're really looking forward to revealing it to you soon!

Next in the world of TY the Tasmanian Tiger will be a new Krome Insider newsletter. The next issue will begin to explore our plans for September and the 20th anniversary of TY the Tasmanian Tiger.

Physical Goods Update - Wave 2 Items

G'day TY2HD Backers!
Read on to see how the remaining physical items from the TY2HD Kickstarter campaign are coming along.
Wave 1 + LPs - Completed
All Wave 1 items have been shipped with a small exception of orders. Wave 1 items were these four items: the TY2 double-CD, the Doomeranger part 1 Comic, the TY2 Artbook, and the Enamel Pins.
The Vinyl Records have also shipped. Previously, we had scheduled them in the upcoming Wave 2 shipment.

Upon closer inspection of the test figures, we sent our feedback to the manufacturer about the small problems we saw (in only some of them). The manufacturer is remaking those molds, and we are awaiting the next tests. Like you, we want them to be the best that they can be.
Swim Shorts - Going Swimmingly
Our first manufacturer wasn't able to get the pockets right. Luckily, we've found a second manufacturer. Check out this new prototype. What do you think?
Our next step with the shorts are to get prototypes made of the six different sizes. There may still be some tweaking we do with some of the elements, but these are pretty close to final.
We're on our fourth round with prototypes. The first few manufacturers weren't able to execute on the vision. This next prototype has been paid for and is in progress. When we have one we like, we will most definitely share it with you.
Doomeranger part 2 - page 8
Recently, Steve streamed his work on a page from the upcoming Doomeranger comic. Have a squizz of the stream to learned a bit about color mapping, and see Sly in a next page of the comic.
It's hypnotizing watching him do the inking, and its interesting how he lays the shading.
